Becoming a Stroke & Turn Judge can be rewarding on all levels! Have you ever wondered exactly what makes a swimmer disqualify (“DQ”) in their race? Or how each swim stroke should be done? Were you a swimmer in summer rec league or higher? Would you enjoy being directly pool side at swim meets? If you answered yes to any of these, or if you just want to, please join the officiating crew.

OFFICIALS
Swim meet officials ensure compliance with league rules in the pool and on the deck with a Deck Ref, Meet Ref and multiple Stroke & Turn Judges. Anyone new to this role starts with training to be a Stroke & Turn official and more experienced officials move up to Meet Ref & Deck Ref positions. Please contact us if you have interest in these critical positions!
Complete the process online/on your own
- Anyone can goto strokeandturn.com and get certified as well. This does cost money (appx $25). Once complete, please send certificate to [email protected].
